| 1. Written by Jewels, on 04-09-2009 15:46 NEVER, EVER give your bank account information for automatic payments! Every Consumer Rights Activist says not to. Offer to pay with a Money Order or Money Gram/Western Union. If they say they can only accept automatic deductions from your bank account, that's bulls**t! Tell them you don't have a bank account. When I told them I had no checking or savings account, they still refused to accept the money order and harrassed me. But after standing my ground, they finally realised they had no choice but to accept a money order. They just want direct access to your account to do exactly what they did to you, pull out more than authorized. |
