4. Written by melissa, on 05-10-2008 17:16 i'm now getting hassled by rpm now on a debt i do not owe. It was settled in PA over4 years ago, got a letter from ATT that I had a cleared account. Every 12 to 15 (or more) months a new agency calls to tell me I have this debt. In the past I have done the mail in the dispute to show its paid then, they just sell it to an ohter agency & it starts all over again. I just told RPM this and she's says well all disputes have to be in writtring. I said I'v done this w/ multiple agencys and they will have to have a real lawyer take me to court here in NV. Why botherr doing all the right legal stuff just to have them re-sell it. By law 7 yeats is the statue ofn limitations on a debt. So I'l just wait for that. Then when that new agency says I owe it I'll send everything to the attorney general. Oh and by the way if you get a "lawyer letter" threat make sure you check out it isn't just agency's other dept. I went through that too. Sent all documentation and the heard 6 months latter from a new agency it was owed.

7. Written by kamal, on 13-07-2008 14:32 yea we *** peoples lives up. I've been working for rpm for a long time, and its not legal what we do I have to admit. our boss howard george encourages us managers to do whatever it takes to meet our quotas even if that means harrasing people illegally to get the job done. In a system that we call pick we can change peoples details on what we call the full and complete s1 screen. we change/add peoples social security numbers, first and last names, addresses, ect. it's almost legal because were not changing the original details of the bill, we have a screen with these original details that can not be changed. However......................................... we do have a seperate screen that we use to put these new details in once we call someone and trick them to giving us these details and we use them as leverage when we call back and threaten to destroy their credit score with. we tell them their bill is 107.00 when its really 100.00 That way we can charge a 7.00 fee to process the payment. We tell them their bill is 114.00 when its really 100.00 when they want to make two seperate payments of 50.00 each. I swear being a manager at this company is the easiest job in the world.

9. Written by Mike from RPM, on 12-07-2008 15:59 Yea I work there and iv collected 9 thousand so far this month and I did not do that writing down the wrong numbers. Maybe you need to read them better. We call you back to fix the payments even when they go south. You must need more education. It must be why you got in debt from the start.
